Whether you’re an established choral group looking for something new, or just fancy a sing-a-long with your friends, this project is an ideal way to begin performing ‘historically informed’ choral music in an enjoyable and informative atmosphere.
Whilst previous courses have focussed on Antonio Vivaldi’s popular Gloria, any repertoire can be chosen. This is the perfect opportunity to discover a fresh approach to your favourite choral work.
If you provide the singers, we’ll provide the orchestra for this day-long course, working under the guidance of young professional vocalists from groups such as The Sixteen and Monteverdi Choir. The workshop process culminates in a performance of your chosen work, joining forces with both soloists and full baroque orchestra – a truly unique experience!
